Getting laboratory test results quickly means our doctors can begin the treatment plan for your pet. Our facility is equipped with a VetTest 8008 and a QBC reader to allow us to get quick and accurate results on everything ranging from a full chemistry panel to a simple blood glucose check on diabetic patients. The results of many common tests (heartworm tests, fecal analysis, feline leukemia tests) are available in a few minutes. If the laboratory test requires special processing we will send it out to our external veterinary laboratory. The external lab provides us with results usually within the same day or the next day (with tests like histopathology results take longer). Once our doctors receive the results they will contact you to discuss the results and the optimal patient care.
