Boarding

Nothing can change the fact that being away from your pet is stressful. When you can't be with your pet it is important to leave them with someone you can trust. The kennel staff at Boulevard works 365 days a year to make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. Additionally, our boarding service comes with the security of having veterinary staff present and on call to take care of your pet should anything happen. All dogs are walked 3-5 times a day through our scenic double fenced atrium complete with fish pond and some of the oldest oak trees in Raleigh. We have ample space to accommodate boarding patients of any size. Our outdoor runs provide a luxurious area for your pet to move around, drink and eat, play, and watch other pets from the safety of his own space. These runs are well-ventilated, completely enclosed, and feature a plastic dog house for your pet to enjoy. Indoor climate controlled boarding is best suited for cats and small to medium dogs; but we do have limited space for larger pets.

Our kennel staff enjoys playing with each and every boarder that stays with us (old-fashioned care doesn't carry any extra expense). For the safety and health of all our boarding guests we require that all boarders be current on vaccinations and free of worms, fleas, and ticks. On the day your pet is scheduled to head home we recommend they receive a grooming package that includes a bath and pedicure. We offer many additional services to accent your pet's stay with us. In addition to a bath and pedicure, we would be delighted to brush your pet, clip out any matted hair, clean their ears, or express their anal glands. We enjoy sending home a happy, fresh smelling pet wearing a complimentary Boulevard Animal Hospital bandana (free with every bath).

Feeding

Every pet is unique and comes with his or her own special needs. Many animals require medications, special diets, or special feeding instructions. Our kennel staff is trained to provide your pet with individual, customized service. We recommend that you leave any bedding or leashes at home as we will be happy to provide both bedding and leash walks for your pet. Please feel free to bring your own food or let us take care of your pet's diet with Hill's Science Diet Maintenance food. Don't forget to pick up a new toy or treat for their boarding stay with us.
